Entry 4: Giddy Up
Our next installation is inspired by the wild west. I've always had a thing for denim, leather, and a cool ass cowboy boot. Originally I was going to use a piece I had created a few weeks ago, but was having a hard time finding my flow. It just wasn't flowing the way I imagined. As I was going through the pieces, I started to notice how much leather, denim, and nature inspired themes I kept coming across.
I pulled a lot from my vintage archives coupled with designing a handful of pieces and found myself in this western whirlwind of inspiration. It just felt right, not forced, the right spot at the right time type of feeling. Biggest lesson is if it feel right, what yo waiting for? Giddy up and get on it. Trust the feeling and get to it!
